Štefánik the Politician, Štefánik the Astronomer, Štefánik the Pilot, Štefánik the Scientist, Štefánik the Son, Štefánik the Fiancé, Štefánik Inspiration, Štefánik the Myth, Štefánik the Outcast – all of these and many other faces of one of the most striking personalities of Slovak history will be revealed by the exhibition: Štefánik – The Man and the Legend.

The Slovak National Museum has prepared this excellent exhibition in co-operation with the Slovak National Archive and Slovak Radio for the 90th jubilee of M. R. Štefánik’s death.

The exhibition opened on the 6th May and will run until 31st August, 2009, at the Podhradie  Exhibition Pavilion, at 16 Žižkova street, Bratislava
